Best Workout Stimulants

I am often asked about ways to boost focus / energy before a workout.   I’ll write a full article on this subject later as I have a lot of experience, and opinions (!) on what constitutes an effective (and healthy!!) pre workout stimulant.

My own personal pre-training favourite is very simple -  1.5gms l carnitine, 2 Poliquin Fast Brain, black coffee and then lots of BCAAs during the workout.

The best stimulant though is called AMP by Ergopharm.  Its a fantastic product - just make sure that you use it only once per week to ensure limited receptor downgrade.

I have also started having whey and vitargo immediately before I train - although it is definitely a bit too early to say if it helps a lot with the actual training.  I am however convinced that its a boon for anyone in a muscle building training phase - I am experimenting on myself and am now up to 265lbs at about 11/12% body fat, which is the biggest I have been since my competitive bodybuilding days.
