BioSignature Modulation - Cortisol Control and Stomach Fat
By Nick Mitchell • Apr 30th, 2008 • Category: Biosignature, fat loss, featuresCortisol control is a key aspect of all things to do with health, athletic performance and body composition.
Although it is a very simplistic (and erroneous) notion that “all cortisol is bad”, for the context of this discussion we should focus our attention on the negative side of cortisol and how it impacts upon localised fat deposits around the belly button area. Many of my personal training clients come to me in states of distress - they have tried everything to get lean and yet nothing seems to work. These are the people for whom it is all about working smarter, not harder, and they are in fact dream clients as their dedication and focus means that we can always find the right way to dial them into their best shapes ever. For these over workers, it is often a case of taking their foot off the gas and doing LESS. These Type A personalities are almost always the same people who stress over doing their best and never allow themselves to relax (I speak from extensive personal experience!) and the constant physical and mental stress that they subject themselves to has only a deleterious impact upon physical conditioning.
Its beyond the scope of this blog to go into too much detail, so let this serve as an introductory preamble to my latest BioSignature Modulation focused article that was published in AskMen.com.
I hope that you enjoy it.
