Go Organic!

I have written about the importance of organic food on several occasions – not only is it genuinely better for fat loss and muscle building, it is also a hell of a lot healthier for you. And I’d take cancer prevention and a robust immune system over anything else every time.

A recent piece in “Prevention” magazine compared organically farmed vegetables to their mass produced equivalents. It should be no surprise that the organic fare contained over 40% more antioxidants. Scientists also found that cows raised in an organic environment gave milk that had over 80% more healthful nutrients than factory farmed cows.

This immune boosting is only ONE of the many reasons why I advise our personal training clients to always go organic whenever and wherever is possible.
