We seem to be getting an increasing amount of press lately, which is a great thing simply because I have learned that publicity is the lifeblood of a business such as ours. Without it fewer people will know about the sort of results that we can achieve and how spectacularly so many of our personal training clients have transformed their bodies.
Due to my recent work with Nintendo there are articles coming up in Red magazine, The Daily Star (going up market I know!), and Cosmo Bride, I have just been commissioned to do a series of very interesting pieces for Men’s Health (more on that later), and because of the excellent (keeping me always on my toes) standard of personal trainers at Ultimate Performance we should have a regular PT feature of all our guys in Men’s Fitness.
One interview I did recently was particularly gratifying as it represented a nice benchmark of the quality of work that we are doing. The Charles Poliquin site has a few interviews with coaches who have excelled in training athletes so a focus on myself and the body composition work we do at UP is a bit of a departure for them, and a measure of just how far we have come in the science and art of personal training so-called “regular people” and improving their bodies (as opposed to making an already well trained, genetically gifted young athlete faster or stronger) and the way that they look and feel. Unlike other serious, credible personal trainers our focus is a bit different – the emphasis for us is not to work with sportsmen. It is all about body composition improvements and being the very best at fat loss, tightening, toning, muscle building, and feeling and looking better. We don’t try to be all things to all people and that’s why we are the best at what we do and get the results that no one else seems to be able to touch. Its a cliche but all of the personal trainers at Ultimate Performance eat, sleep and breathe the lifestyle and it comes across loud and clear in everything that we do.
If you are interested in reading the article on Charles’ site then follow this link to CharlesPoliquin.com. I have tried to be very honest and frank in my views so I hope that you enjoy it!
