I don’t agree with so many of the diet and fat lossfads that pray on the public’s gullibility and lack of nutritional know-how, so the Lemon Juice Diet BS is BS that that I don’t agree with at all. However, please don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater, as lemon juice can increase the amount of available antioxidants by up to five times.
This is due to the acidic nature of lemon juice that aids digestion and therefore promotes absorption of those nutrients.
We keep a large jug of iced lemon water handy at all times in our house, and I advise all our personal training clients to do likewise.
